Funeral services for Marlene (Mrs. Darrell) Oliver age 82 of West Point, NE will be held on Thursday, September 19, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. at the Minnick Funeral Home in West Point, NE. Interment will be in the Beemer Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service on Thursday.

Marlene passed away on Thursday, September 12, 2019 at the Colonial Haven Nursing Home in Beemer, NE.
Marlene Kay Elbling was born on May 11, 1937 in Omaha, NE. She attended Dodge Public Schools and graduated from Dodge High School in 1953.
Marlene married Gilbert Ludacka and lived in Howells, NE where they had four children-Mary, Cindy, James, and Joseph.
Marlene lived in various places in the United States.
On December 28, 2000, she married Darrell Oliver in Rapid City, SD. They lived in Alaska for 10 years before moving to West Point, NE.
Marlene attended the Family Worship Center in West Point, NE. She enjoyed walking, attending rummage sales, loved her animals-especially her dog, Bear. Marlene was a people person.
